Captain Benjamin Palmer

From this Palmer ancestry site (Benjamin was the son of Walter and Rebecca (Short) Palmer):

Capt. Benjamin Palmer was born on 30 (3) 1642 in Charlestown He was baptised on 6 (4) 1640 in the First Church in Charlestown. He died on 10 Apr 1716 in Stonington.   He married an unknown wife in Antigua.

In his diary, Thomas Minor says, " [On 8 May 1681] I received Brother Benjamin his Letter from Antego ... about the .10th. of Agust .1681 Benjamin palmer brought whome his wife ". [Ref, p. 166]

On 5 Jun 1684 he agreed to a division of his father's lands which was to have been done by his mother, but she had not. [Ref, p. 27]

Benjamin gave his land in Stonington to his nephews Daniel Palmer, Esq., Moses Palmer, yeoman, and Jonathan Palmer by a 17 Feb 1715/6 deed. His nephew Jonathan was to have land adjoining Benjamin's brother Jonathan's land when he was 20. Daniel and Moses were to care and provide for Benjamin thereafter. [Ref, p. 27-8]
